Caring For Kids ~ Charity Swim ~ Sunday 26th August 2007

Nyona from A Bridal Dream, joined Waggy from Radio Tay and 8 others to swim the River Tay for Charity.
The original plan was for us to swim from Tayport Harbour to Broughty Ferry Harbour, but the swim was
postponed from Saturday due to strong winds.
After a sleepless night on Saturday Night, the swim was scheduled to take place on Sunday afternoon,
but good old Scottish weather hampered things again, when the winds again proved too strong.
However, the swim went ahead in the afternoon, with the 10 swimmers following a triangular course just outside the harbour. I thought I was doing fine, until the same girl kept over taking me, and actually finished the course when I still had 2 out of 5 laps to go!!!! I just keeping telling myself that as long as I finished the course, that's what counts!
